Can’t beat the power of love.
Boh’s one of my favorite characters in Spirited Away. It’s really sweet that, in being forced out of his nursery against his will by Chihiro, he actually went through a journey of maturation that parallels hers. In the beginning of the movie, Chihiro is a bit spoiled and is disrespectful to her parents. After being thrown into another world and left to fend for herself, she begins to grow up and learns to prioritize the things that truly matter, making new friends along the way. Boh, who was very spoiled, goes through a similar journey (even makes his own little friend, who’s sitting on his shoulder in the first gif and nods with him in agreement! so cute omg) and becomes a better person(baby) by the end of the movie as well. Even Yubaba is surprised that he can stand on his own~ The end of Spirited Away is actually yet another beginning for Chihiro, since she has to use what she learns to deal with more change in her life - namely, a new house and a new school. ヽ(゜∇゜)ノ
